Does anybody have information about the Muradiye in Edirne?
This was once a important place for the Mevlana sufi's, including a complex of schools, kitchens for the poor, llibraries, etc. Is it all destroyed by Ataturk?
It is a mosque now, where the tekke and prayerhall were put together by breaking the wall that separated those places. The other buildings, like imaret and library did not survive after the Great Gazi abolished Sufism and closed all places associated with Sufi's.
